Old Celtic Oval Silver Locket & Fancy Chain

The oval locket, measuring approx. 2.25 (including the top bale) x 1.3" has a lovely celtic and hand-engraved design on the front, and is plain on the rear.  It is hinged to the left and opens up to a space for two photographs, or similar.  The chain complements the locket extremely well, with the fancy shape of the links and the engraving on each alternate link.  With a chunky bolt fastener at the front of the chain, from which the pendant also hangs, there is a feeling of decadence to the whole piece.  The chain is also plain on the reverse, and measures approximately 18.5" in length.  The necklace, as a whole, weighs approximately 44.1gms.
